PRECAUTIONS AGAINST CORONAVIRUS

What is coronavirus
 According to the WHO ,Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS). 

WASH YOUR HANDS

Regularly and thoroughly wash your hands with hand wash or soap for 10-20 seconds and or use a greater than 60 percent alcohol-based hand sanitizer .Avoid touching your eyes,nose and mouth with unwashed hands .

USE OF HAND SANITIZER 

Keep a bottle of sanitizer available at each of your home's entrances.And in your car for use after getting gas or touching other contaminated objects when you can't immediately wash your hands 

COVER COUGH AND SNEEZE 

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.Throw used tissues in the trash.Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, clean your hands with a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol .

WEAR A FACE MASK 

IF YOU ARE SICK.You should wear a face mask when you are around other people (e.g sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider's office. who are caring for you should wear a face mask if you enter your room .If you are not sick you do not need to wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick. If you go outside ,for protective measures you wear your face mask .

MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCE

Stay at home , Avoiding contact with others and visit to public places.
 NO HANDSHAKING
Avoid handshaking , use a fist bump, slight bump and elbow bump etc .

DON'T TOUCH WITH HANDS
Use only your knuckle to touch light switches,elevator buttons,etc .
Open doors with your closed fist or hip .
Don't grasp the handle with your hand ,unless there is no other way to open the door .Especially important on bathroom and commercial doors
CLEAN AND DISINFECT
Clean and disinfect touched surfaces daily .This includes tables,light switches,doorknobs,handles etc  Use bleaching powder solution for cleaning of your home.Especially door handles ,entrance door knobs etc 

STAY SAFE ,STAY AT HOME
